The Big SVC 2003 Questionnaire

COMPETITION

The competition is designed to actively encourage all Class of 84 SVCers to make their presence felt on this site.  The website has now been live for eight years, and I'm only too aware that its mostly *my* stuff that you're seeing... and since I've been neglecting the site over the past few months, it truly is well past time that the rest of you got your say...

So...  the competition is simple:

submit something to this website

It could be about your life now. It could be about your life at SVC between 1979 and 1983.  It could be about your life in between times.  It could be something funny. It might be something sad.  It could be short. It could be complicated, and involve me setting up pages of content to make it work...  You don't need to know anything about websites... just email me your ideas and I'll do my best to translate them into something that works here. Or, if you're smart and you know all about this html stuff that's equally welcome.

There are at least three prizes up for grabs:

First prize is a copy of the utterly fabulous Indiana Jones DVD box set, which includes an absolutely *gorgeous* transfer of my all-time fave movie 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'.  Lisa and I sat through repeated screenings in the summer of '81, and I'm afraid that I never really recovered...

Also on offer is the complete 'Knowing Me Knowing You' DVD, featuring East Anglia's favourite son Alan Partridge, long-time patron of the Longstanton Spice Museum and resident of the Linton Travel Lodge...

...as well as the 'Old Grey Whistle Test Volume 2' DVD, featuring music from OMD, the Pet Shop Boys and Siouxsie & the Banshees amongst others...

And if you don't do DVDs... well why not??!   If you *really* aren't interested in any of the above then I'm sure I can come up with something else...  So what are you waiting for??! Get those creative juices flowing and drop me a line...

You can email stuff to me here

Closing date is ... not yet.

small print: this competition is open to any "Class of 1984" Swavesey Village College inmates, including any teachers who may have had the pleasure of teaching us. You can enter the competition as many times as you want.   You must tell the Webmistress where you live in order to receive your prize. The decision of the Webmistress is final. Although I have heard she can be bribed with white wine and Jaffa Cakes...
